cici artist participated in the Boyajian's Sculpture Barn's Atelier III Exhibit September 24 through October
29th 2006 The exhibition celebrated the contemporary approach to traditional materials as taught by David Boyajian. Among the more than 50 pieces on view were 8 by cici artist. The pieces by cici artist mark a new place in her continuum of faces and masks. Seven of the works are new relatively flat copper squares. Each piece has been plasma cut defining the main image. Selected areas were raised and then spot brazed and finally a patina added. Scroll down to see her works: |
