| Copper Masks 2005 |

| Transformation: the Face and the Masks leaps out when you see this series of copper masks. Some viewers have referred to them as heads. They feel like faces yet they have the characteristics of masks. I think they are my most successful sculptures to date. Each mask was transformed from one sheet of copper. ( I welded copper tubing onto the backs only for support for hanging). Most have been brazed and patina applied. They range in size from widths of 12" to 48" I will be making them available for sale at some future date. I have completed over 50 of them. (I feel I really don't understand a medium until I do at least 25) Anyway, here are a few of them: |
