Transformation: the face and the mask is the focus for cici artist’s art. She transformed her life from the applied mathematician’s office to the artist’s studio and carries that transformation into her art. “The work is about the faces & masks I have worn and those I see”. As with her life, there is a myriad of materials in her work. Her masks tend toward copper, bronze and ceramics while her paintings move in watercolor, acrylics and oil. She is shifting her faces into a new series of music & masks.
